I'd love Huerta to pull off the upset but as you said he has been shot for years and even with Henderson looking like he might be shot also I cant see it happening, I think Huerta will at least give effort hopefully its a good fight and not Henderson winning a boring decision. I was suprised when I first saw this match was made but I guess Huerta still has some name value
The card isn't but the events certainly are. I think Dana will learn from this in terms of stand by fighters.
The card is ****ing disgrace for a PPV. There are some fights that pique my interests that are a bit under the radar, but it's lost the majority of it's steam.
Two title fights tbf, both featuring the best in the respective divisions as well. But a lot of steam has been lost. I think on future they should include a fight featuring a top 5 of the weight class just in case, MMA training is hard, cutting weight is hard, there's too many opportunities for a fighter to get injured.
Pettis is a shell of what he used to be.... Hell, most of us were tipping Chiesa to do a number on him and he's poorer than Khabib and just about every area. Don't really care for the female Strawweight title fight. Kattar/Carneiro, Iaquinta/Felder, Magomedsharipov/Bochniak, Dunham/Mercier all interest me. But not enough to make up for how much of a tattering the card as a whole has taken.
