Let's say Golovkin beats Canelo and he gets the decision (probably there won't be a stoppage), then in September he is going to unify against Saunders (not an impossible challenge), and then he has to defend his WBC title. Tom Lauffler said few days ago they want to fight 3 times this year, so i think's a possible scenario. Is he a real threat, or the Americans trying to overhype someone?
Id love him to either retire after Saunders or a super Fight against IBO, WBA (Potentially also IBF Champion at that time, Groves or Eubank Jr.)
Right now? Hard to say. My gut says they are relatively evenly matched what with Golovkin's superior skillset and Charlo's superior youth, stamina, and speed.
I dont see why GGG would want to make a mandatory when he could make a mega fight with Eubank/Groves. Of course, should he take on 'the guy' at SMW, there will be idiots claiming he's ducking Charlo.
I don't see how any Charlo fan boys can demand GGG fight him. There is a queue and Charlo is near the back of it. Charlo can jump a top the front by earning the fight by beating blokes ahead of him. I don't care how good Charlo is he doesn't have the resume or drawing power to make it happen. Hurd destroyed his best win an people call him a bum ffs.
Golovkin by knockout!!! Golovkin is not a cripple, and Charlo loves to fight cripples, if beating a cripple who could hardly walk makes you the top middleweight in the world, then perhaps Golovkin should knock out Charlo's cripple! Charlo should fight Jacobs ASAP, then he could prove something, but cripples? Hell no! I suspect Golovkin will fight El Pollo, if not cheated, he will then beat the hell out of Saunders, then rubber match with El Pollo or retire, there is nothing left for him to do at his age. If Oscar had not stopped Golovkin from fighting 3 or 4 times per years, he could have gone on longer, but I think he will retire on top..................watch out for Tony Weeks and judges like Byrd, we all know which side Bob Bennett is on...............Oscar can't hide behind his damned fishnets, we all know he is a crook!
GGG Golovkin via decapitation. I saw fear in Jermallo's eyes for a second when useless cripple Johann Sebastian Heiland backed him to ropes. Jermallo hasn't even fought a puncher down at 154 yet, let alone up at 160. It looked to me like he was even feeling the weight of some of Trout's pity pats. Be careful what you wish for. GGG by KO. Charlo has nothing to bother Gennady, and looks deficient in power, timing, footwork, chin, stamina, heart and brains, compared to Gennady. Once in survival mode, I’d say Charlo lasts a little bit longer than Brook did.
Tom Lauffler said this. September and December, GGG wanted the Canelo rematch last year December. He always fight 3 times a year, but before the Canelo fights he can't take any other fights he would risk the value with a loss. Abel wanted Golovkin-Murata before the rematch, but De La Hoya said no way.
Would be great if he fight 3 times this year but I still doubt it december is too soon after a september fight.
