The step up fron youths to seniors is a big thing. Many (especially heavyweights) don't look as impressive against men , or it takes them a few years. Aleksei Dronov (Russia) won a super heavyweight gold medal in every major tournament in the youths looking beastly, but hes poor as a senior so far. Same with William Howe from here.. 'The Boro Balboa'. he was a top amateur in the youths but has been losing in the quarter finals and semi finals of the Senior ABAs.
