As with the first one I did, I would appreciate your input on how a hypothetical head-to-head would play out between these two high-quality fighters at 130. Would Lockridge's smart aggression overcome Corrales or would Diego's size and power see him through?

Since they are both on the ballot for the IBHOF, I would like to know who you see as the greater boxer, as well.

I could see how Corrales would simply be too big for Lockridge at 130 and busy enough with hard combinations to be a real bad matchup for Rocky, who was always on the offensive.

Lockridge might be the greater fighter though.

I like Rocky here. He has that great amateur pedigree and he was a more disciplined aggressive fighter. I think he gets under and inside on Diego and punishes him. Diego had no defense. Rocky just too smart and polished for Diego.
Rocky stops him at some point.

Lockridge would enter the ring at 130, Corrales at 147.

Corrales likely has the better career. But, he loses to the best version of Lockridge head to head.

If Corrales tries to make it an inside fight ....like he did against Castillo ....he will lose

I see it exactly the opposite. For all his aggression, Lockridge was wide with all his shots, everything was over the top or from the sides. Castillo fought in a much tighter arc.

Corrales never makes it easy on himself but at 130 the size difference gives Corrales some excellent angles to throw his straight right over the top and Rocky likes to go in the inside and Corrales lives there. Rocky is 5’6 to Corrales 5’10. Corrales probably gets stunned a few times but wins in a firefight mid rounds.
