Where will the division stand? Fury on fire - Has a cult following in boxing at this point. He is revered as a god by many as millions of fans migrate to Las Vegas to see this one in a lifetime phenom feed on the stiffs Arum is feeding him Wilder retired AJ retired Whyte retired Ruiz retired Povetkin retired Pulev retired Ortiz undergoing metamorphosis into a new body to continue his 150 year hunt for a title
AJ will be fighting Hrgovic for all the stakes in a second fight where one has lost to the other . Win or lose to AJ , Fury isn’t sticking around there’s no way . The division will be even more dangerous, Hrgovic , DDD , Mahkmudov, Conto , Sirenko , Adeleye , Jalolov , a 6”10 guys name I can’t pronounce ? Etc.....Things will be very competitive and all focus will be on AJ ,can any one of those guys take it from a seasoned AJ ? Possibly, Hrgovic has the right blend, imop he’s got a higher ceiling then Vitali Klitschko .
See dubois climbing the ladder at some stage still early days but got potential. See how he handles Joyce if it still goes ahead but will be interesting to see what things go like with a better level of opponent
I think you guys are underestimating that the belts will be jammed up for the next two years at least with Covid, unification, rematches and mandatories, so, i say realistically.... 2020 We will be optimistic and say that Joshua-Pulev and fury-Wilder III get done 2021 Again, optimistically say that unification is made, with Fury winning. Then there will be a rematch (yup, it will be in the contract). Tyson and Holyfield fight at the end of the year with Tyson pulling it out. A fight is made between Tyson and Fres Oquendo for the WBA regular belt, but falls though when Tyson has PEDS in his system. Oquendo sues to be instated as champion even though he has not fought in seven years, and the WBA declines, but moves him up to #5 in their ratings, instated re-instating Charr as champion, but Ustinov as "temporary provisional regular champion." Chisora beats someone he shouldn't. Povetkin loses to someone he shouldn't (maybe Chisora) and retires. Ortiz does not fight anyone. 2022 Fury mandatories against Whyte and Usyk. In the meantime, Ruiz, and Parker will have built themselves back up, and Miller will be on deck (yup, Fury has said him by name). Joyce beats Dubois and people are still wondering why Hrgovic has not taken off. Ike Ibeabucchi comes back, wins a fight against a no-hoper, and is promptly re-arrested. Bowe tries to come back and boxing finally takes a stand and says no. Wlad Klitschko comes back, announcing that he is going to break Foreman's record, but he only embarrasses himself and re-retires. Chisora loses to someone he should have beat, and then everyone agrees that he is done. Then he wins one that he should have lost, and he is back. Agit Kabeyl fights a no-hoper. 2023 Fury beats Miller, Joyce, and maybe squeezes in his buddy Parker. 2024 Fury beats Ruiz and maybe Ejagba. Ortiz shows back up and looks to be 80 years old. Loses to a no-hoper. People are still wondering why Hrgovic has not taken off. No one knows at this point if Dychko or Yoko are still fighting. My guess.
