Go and watch Mayweather have a slugfest vs Jesus Chavez standing in the pocket, or go and watch Mayweather be completely offensive vs Phillip Ndou absolutely destroying him. And then tell me Stevenson is the next Mayweather they're not even remotely in the same league.

 

The only similarity is that he's got fans leaving the fight early, just like Mayweather.

Ppl forgot that Floyd used to stop his opponents when his hands still was intact and engaged in fire fights if he had too, something Stevenson doing his best to avoid. Stevenson doesn’t even stop fighters he’s supposed to stop.

Fans turned in to see Floyd fight because they either wanted to see him win or lose. Stevenson doesn’t have fans so nobody cares if he fights.

 

New people to boxing think of old floyd being boring but neglect pretty boy Floyd who was a beast.

 

I’d have taken the $15mil if I was him.

Floyd had a HOF career before he even arrived at WW. And he beat people up during that run..not box to decisions.

 

Young Floyd was electric. He looked like a one of a kind dynamic talent. Shakur is just Erislandy on Valium

 

Erislandy can crack though and has made for some pretty fun fights on the occasions he’s been matched well. The Canelo fight was a pretty fun watch and at least Erislandy doesn’t cry on Twitter about how he’s actually the greatest fighter to have ever laced up and nobody understands him.

 

That happened to Floyd several times the most obvious was the Baldomir debacle. The invited celebrities were walking out of that farce by round 8. It wasn't Baldomir they wanted Floyd to fight was it LOL. I remember Floyd's #1 fan MVC saying " Floyd's just trolling you all he wont really fight Baldimir" !! WRONG!! Then MVC When it was confirmed came back & claimed Balimir was a legitimate opponent lol
Oh one thing Shakur might take up on is the mantle of " Diva of the Era" now that Bivol has spanked Canelo's butt & dethroned the self proclaimed KING ROFL

 

Mayweather had many duds go watch him against Victoriano Sosa or see people walking out against Baldomir. The Harutyunyan fight wasn't even that boring people just didn't like watching Shakur win every round because they just don't like him. It was actually a very Mayweather looking fight.

 

Baldomir was the man in the division, why wouldn't Floyd fight him, lol.
