I agree with the G. Browne mention. He's fighting Jeffers now tho. It'll be a defence of the WBA cont against an overseas fighter more than likely. Tbf i thought his last vs Macias was good matchmaking for Simpson at this point in his career. Circular is winner of Cullen vs Chelli to waive grace to fight C.S

 

Yeah, saw that - Jeffers-Brown is fine as well, just saw that as a good Simpson opponent if he's getting the shot next. Macias was good matchmaking tbf, as was Crighton. Let's hope we see another half decent opponent, not just a knockover.

 

I was told the date a few weeks ago now, wasn’t given any opponents.

I would like the summers fight for Whittaker. The English champ and is a local fight, however I live near summers and seeing him in the local supermarket, he looks huge. No way would he be fighting in 8 weeks time.

 

Don't shoot the messenger here but I've heard at least two main events in the next 6 weeks are already down and shows doubtful.

Just looked up that venue in NI - it really does look like a clubhouse from what I can see. First boxing event to be held there looking at Boxrec. Never seen anything like it, I won't slate it though as I was on here a while ago criticising promoters for putting fights in arenas far too big for the event. Far better there than in the SSE Arena in front of around 1000 people.

Noakes is in a solid fight

 

Solid ye but think Sam will beat Lewis.
Lewis Sylvester is sharp and a decent mover and I expect him to be well up by mid way point but Noakes can punch and I reckon he'll get him out of there in the last 4 rds.

First main event off like I heard on the grapevine, A Boxxer one is off also but sky don't wanna announce till fight week to save on ticket sales /card falling apart
