2024 Schedules - UK Shows

This Riyadh Season could be a huge disaster for a boxing only broadcaster such as DAZN UK given the Saudi Cards are mainly watched by boxing fans and casuals on TNT Sports Box Office due to the better production, boxing analysts and boxing commentators.

Would imagine that the few DAZN UK subscribers left would expect to watch decent regular bi-weekly UK based cards as a minimum.

DAZN UK may have to drop the subscription price down to £0.99 to retain subscribers given their UK based content is classed as next gen and occasionally previous gen fighting Connor Benn.

 

What is happening right now worries me deeply.

If you take a look at the February schedule on DAZN UK, there aren't many highlights.

 

We will soon be in the Eddie Hearn selling DAZN UK annual subscriptions month.

Coming soon is a 3 month bang average schedule, promises of no Box Office, claims of 'unprecedented value for DAZN UK subscribers' and a plea to 'trust us, we will deliver for our subscribers'.

Never again after a very poor year for subscribers looking to watch UK based cards that were very infrequent and in the main very poor cards.

DAZN UK looks a very poor version of Boxnation, losing huge sums of money every year and I expect the plug to be pulled before Connor Benn lays his own eggs.

Hearn has no interest in the UK he is chasing the Saudi money.

 

I cannot see anyone buying that on PPV. Catterall is so dull.

Catterall is not selling any tickets and he is not getting any new subscribers to DAZN UK. This is probably also why Matchroom is ready to allow Top Rank to arrange Taylor vs Catterall II.
