shame about Van and taira being postponed a month but this is still a great card. Main event is so tasty for so many reasons. You just can’t bet against jiri can you? Even though Ulberg is a bit of a sniper, surely he doesn’t have the power to lay Jiri out. Weirdly I don’t think Ulberg has done enough to warrant a title shot, but with the way Alex destroyed Magomed, it’s the only other viable option. Looking forward to this weekend

 

Ive gone for the Jiri Sub, Ulberg past 3 is unknown, with the pace Jiri fights at, i think Jiri will weather a few early scares come on late as Ulberg tires. I just picture Ulberg giving Jiri his back whether its a Conor vs Nate esq type of desperation takedown or whether Jiri actually tries to take him down. I see there being plenty of grappling exchanges though, initiated by Jiri, tactically or just as a break in action if the stand up isnt going his way.

Van vs Taira being postponed just adds a extra month of me changing my mind everyday. If it was happening tomorrow id be predicting Taira. If it was happening next week, probably be picking Van, have to just see what it lands on come fight week.
