I know there's a case for Machida getting a title shot, but Rampage has been facing much tougher competition. Plus, styles make fights & Lyoto-Rashad could cure insomnia. Rashad is only interesting when his opponent brings the fight to him. Quinton would bring it.
I know Rampage has said he wants a Forrest rematch, but Griffin has fought Shogun, Page, & Rashad back to back. If anyone deserves an easier fight or some time off, Forrest does. Or if he's up to it, a Jardine rematch at worst.

I know it's a long shot, but it's clear that A. Silva isn't interested in fighting anyone at 185 and he only wants big fights at this stage. It probably won't happen, but think of the dream matchups if Silva was the Champ at 205? Crazy.

As I said in the other thread it would be very unfair on the winner of Machida vs. T.Silva if Rampage gets the title shot first. I think Rampage needs another fight, if Shogun wins in a couple of weeks time thats a fight which makes sense. Also there is a certain Luiz Cane who is free.

Rampage wants Griffin first. You can bet your bottom dollar Rampage will get Rashad first. Makes sense to some degree as the title is changing hands to much. If Rampage had taken Griffin seriously in the first place this mess wouldnt have ensued.

I also can't see Forrest vs. Rampage happening next. Since Forrest is one of their posterboys I can see them giving him a easier fight (maybe a Jardine) instead of throwing him straight back in with Rampage.

comon now, you cant take away Griffin's great performance like that, prepared or not, Rampage still didnt had answer to Griffin's leg kicks who did take the fight out of him for a good part of thefight.

If the fight had been scored correctly using the 10 point must system it would have been a draw. Griffin didnt take Rampages title. He got a bly.

I'd like to see Rampage avenge his loss to Forrest, but it's quite unlikely to happen for a while. I think Forrest needs a rest after the year he has just had.

Alot of the LHW division is tied up at the moment and I think Luiz Cane needs another fight before he takes on someone like Rampage. I'd like to see Rampage vs Brandon Vera. Get that hype job out of the UFC.

The UFC are planning on giving on giving Vera a easy fight at UFC 96. Wouldn't surprise me if he still struggles. At this time Vera shouldn't even be mentioned with the likes of Rampage. He has looked horrible lately. Look at the Rees Andy fight, he won but looked crap doing it. Matt Hamill battered the guy in round 2 with his stand up (which has improved but still needs isn't too good) and Vera who is meant to have a kickboxing background couldn't even come close to finishing him. The only reason he is still around is because he is popular with the Filipino fans and is the UFC ticket to the Philipines.

i think forrest needs to fight somebody like jardine coming off a lose and rampage should fight somebody like shougon rua, then griffin and rampage need a rematch then they need to fight machida and then you have the winner of that fight vs. rashad.

or they may just go straight to a griffin/jackson rematch, and the winner goes on to face rashad.

you never know with the ufc.

I'd like to see Rashad fight Rampage next. But it wouldn't bother me at all if they gave him the winner of Machida/Silva. If Quinton doesn't get Evans next, I think he should fight Shogun, pending Rua can defeat Coleman.

Rampage will not beat Rashad, he is training at the Wolfs layer which is were Bisping trains, he couldn't beat Rashad, Rampage is to hot and cold, consistency is not his game, Forrest did enough to win the fight, he kicked then tendons out of Rampages legs and he never checked a single one! I couldn't my eyes.

I hate to say it but Rampage will lose on points I hope and not by KO, I like him to much to see him get spark out.

I hope this fight does not happen as a matter of fact.
