   On the other hand in the days of the London Prize Ring it was almost impossible to get a clean knockout.
   
   Reading between the lines fights usualy ended when one or both fighters quit. It was not uncommon for the fighter who was winning to offer the fighter who was loosing a draw or give them a sum of money to quit.
