140lb unification, with the IBF (6th defense of Judah), WBC (5th defense of Tszyu), and WBA Super light welterweight/super lightweight titles at stake. 27-1-0-1 (22) vs. 27-0-0-1 (21). Six minutes of action total but the runtime is literally 8x that, because of all the pre- and post-fight hullabaloo and pageantry. Ring walks, etc. - and we apparently needed a postmortem with referee Jay Nady that lasted over half as long as the combat itself! At least the interviews were conducted by somebody other than Showtime's usual abrasive (perhaps autistic?) twerp, Jim Gray, for once. This content is protected Birth of the legendary Bawk-b'gawk-!! How does this grab ya, for making us feel old: A human being could have been conceived the night of this fight, and currently be old enough to legally purchase alcohol in the US.
I feel attacked, personally. Super Zab playing around, hands low and moving back in a straight line. F.A.F.O.
I remember watching this fight on my Blackbox. I thought Judah was going to win it after a very strong 1st round but Tyszu proved how great he really was. The Judah weeble wobble dance is burned into the back of my mind.
Watching it live I thought Kostya was about to get his arse kicked hard after the 1st round. The turn around was sublime. You could see Judah run out of ideas and start to get on his bike. The shock when Kostya caught him? I thought we were going to see Tszyu on the canvas, not Judah.
People were riding Judah like he was the next big thing. Loved it when Tszyu nailed him, and that chicken dance will live in infamy.
I miss kostya....damn that guy could bang ..mad that this fight was that long ago.Judah mighta been a abit of a child but the kid was talented . That was my first ever chicken dance that I saw in boxing...never forget lol
