I always seem to be out or working during fnf. I am glad I can always count on you IB. Will be enjoying some vegetable tempura while constantly checking my Iphone. I'm sure my lady friend will be pumped...

According to mlb.com it's the top of the 8th, so it should be over in less than twenty minutes unless the Yankees come back to tie and force extra innings. :good

    Vlasov vs. Ravelo

    Round 1

Ravelo immediately begins pawing with a hook and a hybrid hook-jab. Vlasov ducks and covers, thrusting his own jab into the throat and sternum areas of Ravelo. Vlasov backs Ravelo slowly into a corner and opens up on him but Ravelo shells up. Vlasov walks him from rope to rope and leans on him, a few right hands sneaking through. Ravelo clubs at him with a 1-2. Vlasov continues to walk behind a slow range-finder jab. He fires right hands behind it and then ducks under the wide counters of Ravelo. Ravelo flurries with his back to the ropes and hits Vlasov's forearms. Vlasov continues to walk him down and lands a 1-2 flush. They do a fair bit of wrestling as Ravelo grabs the ducking Russian. After the break Vlasov walks him into a corner and lands a hard uppercut, and goes for the finish. Ravelo escapes to the adjacent corner and survives the round.

    10-9 Vlasov

    Round 2

Ravelo grabbing and clubbing with his 1-2 to discourage Vlasov. He moves backward constantly and Vlasov doesn't relent, except to pause in front of Ravelo and invite him to fire off a warning shot that he can walk through to find an open target. They slug it out in close quarters as Vlasov pushes him up against the ropes. Vlasov landing some uppercuts and Ravelo bringing the right hand up and over, still in clubbing fashion and a bit stunted with the lack of space. Vlasov walks in with a 1-2 that knocks Ravelo's arms down and then nails him with a hard follow-up right. Vlasov complains of a butt right before the bell; his face is specked with blood.

    20-18 Vlasov

    Round 3

Vlasov continues to smash his way through to Ravelo's chin with the 1-2, and one right hand sends Ravelo melting to the canvas. He tries to beat the count on spaghetti legs, and is waved off.

    Vlasov TKO3

I'd rather see BJ Flores on FnF than in the ring.

..btw is he retired already? It's been almost a year since he fought Effy Mendoza hasn't it?

That was a beauty of a short right hand, set up by a jab - it crunched right on the front of Ravelo's face and jerked his neck awfully hard before he fell flat forward.

    Very nice KO.

He's still trying to land something, he only wants money and/or legacy fights at this point. :conf

On Facebook recently he said something about entering a Cruiserweight super six that promoters are discussing, involving Steve Cunningham. :think He was actually very complimentary of USS and said he'd be honored to share a ring with him.

yeah, very nice. That jab blinded him and the right crushed him. Ravelo is at the point where it's time to consider a new line of work. The KO losses he has had have been brutal.

Yeah, it can't be worth the paydays anymore. At 32 and never having developed solid fundamentals, his prospects in the sport as anything other than a professional punching bag are slim.
