Ortiz looks very happy after the fight for someone who just got knocked out. That Ellerbe is a bit of a wanker.
A very interesting little add-on to the show. Floyd's weird though - he can be charming and genuine, then he turns into this comedic, hyper-sensitive cry-baby.
Why would anyone want a rematch? It's not like Ortiz was winning before the headbutt. I think Floyd was on his way to stopping him in the next few rounds anyway.
There have been a few threads, but the general consensus is no rematch. Although I did think originally that a rematch might happen because of the ending - Unfinished Business II . Easy money, but nothing to prove.
no real reason, I didn't think ortiz was doing too bad to be honest. I thought people might be interested if the pac fight didn't happen, not sure who else people would be interested in mayweather fighting that's all.
Ignoring the big name, a fight for the MW title would be good since Sergio isn't too big. Otherwise, he could scalp another inexperienced fighter in Saul Alvarez and take another 154 title. That would be more interesting since he seems to have a cooler head than Ortiz. Khan would be an excellent option and one I'd be interested in seeing the outcome of.
I can't see the sergio fight ever being made. I'd prefer to watch Saul him fight Alverez over khan then fight khan in a year or so, but the thing with mayweather is, we might not get to see him fight for a year now so if that's the case I guess i'd rather see him fight khan next. I wish he could be bothered to fight twice a year.
