Khan, for all his flaws, presents issues with his hand-speed and skittish style. Alvarez, while I like him, seemed baffled by Gomez's simple pressure style early on. I view it as a less interesting fight other than the size element. But I still like it. He may as well beat young, green(ish) guys instead of wasting time beating up bums like Berto.
I don't really follow your point. Because they gave Ortiz some credit for trying, or because they haven't slated him?
hbo are streets ahead of sky and venusdiablo said primetime could have shown the HBO feed but went for benny and wayne
its not just the its showtime part i like, i think lennon delivers it better. he slowly builds it up and lets it rip.
Buffer makes a lot of mistakes too. Why was he saying Ortiz has one of the highest KO percentages of any welterweight in history?! It's 0%.
also i didn't like the new way buffer announced. i was at groves vs degale and when lennon got to the its showtime part everyone was up on their feet also the way he announced the winner the suspense was amazing.
