Should be a good fight. He's putting in the training as always and has some good sparring partners. It's about his inactivity and how that eye holds up.
****ing excited for this fight - no chance Margarito doesn't get licensed, right?! And anyone know how much the PPV is gonna be?
Margarito's 24/7 look intense, because he has nothing in his life other than boxing. When have you seen a Manny Pacquiao or PBF 24/7 were they show you hardcore training? Never and I'm sure these guys train just as hard if not more, but their lives have much more than boxing so, the 24/7 shows less training to show more of the flashy stuff around them... Margarito will lose this fight. No plaster, no power to stop Cotto. He was getting a beating for 7 rounds with plaster on his hands. This time he goes down.
I'm glad he's preparing himself well. Garcia seems to be making some small technical improvements along the way as well. I think we're in for another war.
Hope so. Doubt it though. I'm anxious for the first beautiful punch Cotto lands. I think we'll know the outcome of the fight based on how Tony takes it.
If I was a professional, I think Margarito is one of the guys I'd least like you fight. He's mean, and you know he's just gonna keep comin' no matter what you do to him. He intimidates a lot of fighters.
I think the eye will be fine. If there are any problems with it, they'll show up in sparring for sure. If Cotto wins I think it will be on his own merit. They both want to beat the **** out of each other, of that I'm sure.
