You can't put Hopkins with Chavez and Pac regarding draining themselves to make weight. Hopkins never massively gained weight after the weight in. He often stepped in the ring around 164-165lbs only gaining a few pounds. He was probably out weighed on fight night more often than not. He never had big advantages in weight like Chavez or Pac. And to be fair to Pac, some of his biggest wins have come when he's been in against bigger opposition.
I'm laughing at people who keep bringing up how Sergio is 'past his best'. You guys realize that the age spectrum of boxers' prime has shifted 5-10 over the last couple of decades? At 37 Sergio is probably as 'old and past-prime' as a 32 year fighter was in the 70s.
I like the idea that a middleweight title-holder can sleep all day, skip training & live like a slob It gives hope to all the other lazy bums out there
Martinez is going to **** this kid up,i dont think ya'll realize how bad Chavez is going to get beat..He thinks his chin is good, wait till Sergio hits it
