I enjoyed the Cotto stuff but Floyd's act is tired and the whole "money team" thing is cringeworthy. Overall pretty good though, the training montages from both sides were cool.
It's always interesting to see any boxing related programs, I thought it made forf good viewing but I dont think it will get anymore interesting that this! Cotto doesn't have the personality or persona for it. I do believe this is gooing to be a great fight though, albeit one sided!
Money looked relaxed and Cotton seems to be focused.I think this is going to be interesting for 5 or 6 rounds then Money puts a beating on him.
Good episode with Floyd bulshittin and Cotto milking the good guy role. Hopefully Miguel will show a more badass side in the next few and it would be cool if he kept that beard for the fight. Cotto needs to go cardio crazy and get career-high stamina, efficient tactics and 100% belief for this. Loved his trainers quote and if he can get himself tip-top I dont see why he can't give Floyd a similar fight to the one De La Hoya gave him ...
pedro diaz is a great speaker and motivator. leonard ellerbe is not cool at all, and it's become clear that floyd is putting on an act for the 24/7 cameras. he's honestly like an over the top professional wrestler at this point. do you hear some of the rants he goes on? also, mayweather senior is the man, and cotto's kids have grown up alot.
Floyd just feels an obligation to fans to make the show entertaining and that's his way of doing it. You could tell during the faceoff too, he was trying to make it watchable without being too disrespectful to Cotto. Some people will get turned off by it, but more people will tune in to watch it
hahahaha it's so true, everytime he's going on about the 'Money Team' it's just hilarious. I was wondering, do these guys ever just calm the **** down and just...I don't know...have a nice sit down? Is he still yelling 'Money team!!!' when he's in the shower or scratching his arse?
I agree, and it's good for boxing from a fan perspective. I just think it's pretty obvious that the guy you see ranting on hbo isn't really floyd mayweather. it's just some wild persona.
The public must demand more Lehkei Mayweather footage. We need to see Lehkei Mayweather in the Doghouse next episode. P4P action!
