Floyd is an annoying person to say the least. Always bitching about my daddy beat me... etc.. big ****ing deal.

That doesnt explain why he's so shallow and repeatedly makes an ass of himself.

 

This may be one of the dumbest ideas I've seen on this website. His fight with Oscar did 2.4 million buys, this fight is projected to do over 1 million. Despite the overwhelming success of these two fights and the overwhelming success of the show itself, Floyd should just stop doing it? That doesn't make sense.

As fas as Floyd showing shallow persona, that doesn't make any sense either. People see Floyd as a flashy arrogant guy, so he talks about his father to display his vunerability and you still complain. Ricky on the other hand has done nothing but spout off immature dick and fart jokes. He's really showing off a lot of depth in his personality there. Regardless, this isn't a ****ing HBO dramatic special. People aren't watching this show to explore the emotional depths of these two fighters.

Homeboy is dumb. His personality has always annoyed the **** out of me. I can deal with cocky fighters, hell I've been a James Toney since before he beat Nunn. Same with Roy Jones. Mayweather lacks wit, he just comes off as a dumb pompous ****.

 

For being a brash and loud as he is, Mayweather really has nor charisma or even a defined personality. It's not only his fights as a reason the public never gave two shits about him.

nobody on this forum knows floyd personally so floyd doesnt care what characteristics he portrays to the public (this forum) or lack thereof... regardless if he decided to spend every single one of is dollars making it rain in the club or feeding the needy it doesnt change his skill inside of the ring. he is one of the most talented boxers of our generation and nothing he does or any one else does can take that away from him.

alot of people have this problem with professional athletes.

we look way to deep into their lives.

Michael Jordan, Mike Tyson, Pete Rose, Dennis Rodman, Kobe Bryant are all athletes who had certain characteristics in their personalities that werent "golden" but they were at the top if not the absolute best in their sports and NOTHING! can take that away....

regardless of how you feel about Floyd hes going to live his life how he wants to.

Be a good Father
have problems with his father
donate to charity
Make it rain in the club
Go on dancing for the stars
Be the bad guy for fights

and theres nothing you can do about it so stop the bitching...

i view kobe bryant as one of the fakest personalities in professional sports and just a big baby. but as much as i ABSOLUTELY hate him... i cant take away the fact that hes one of the best in the nba if not the absoulte best in the game.... and thats were people have to admit it to themselves that floyd is the best right now ...

i was thinking exactly the same thing. hbo would be embarrassed if they have to do another 24/7 with mayweather. he's same ol boring childish guy.

im not saying he's not nice but the guy who started the topic says it best, he has a shallow persona and lack of character.

personally i think he tries to be funny like james toney. thing is it suits toney, he is tough, you wont wanna mess with him on the street where as floyd looks like a boy when he tries talking tough.
compare his character to guys like toney and ali, mayweather is not even a joke. when toney or ali crack a joke, we laugh cos its funny and u know they serious, but mayweather, he reminds me of a high skool kid.

worst yet, he has little respect for ATG's like leonard and ali. how dare he say he is betta than SRR, SRL and ALI, with his resume. the only reason i want mayweather to lose is cos he has recently been saying he is betta than Ali and Robinson p4p. it makes me sick. i was a fan of mayweather until this.
i love the way mayweather fights in the pocket, it has got him alot of victories including the one against ODLH, but he needs to be taught a lesson, and i hope hatton lays it on him, to bring him back down to earth.
