No point abusing Venus. Blame Sky or Boxnation for not picking the fight up and allowing themselves to be outbid by Primetime.

It's a **** situation like but can't blame Primetime for trying to make some money. If you don't think it's worth £15 then don't buy the PPV.

 

I agree with Ishy leave Venus out of this, if want to vent your fury at somebody, I suggest you vent it at ''iron chin'' the little wanker has nothing to do with Primetime but derserves abuse anyway. don't waste your anger people, use it wisely.

I feel like some of the blame should go on Bob Arum. Can't really justify why, but I hate to see him getting away scot free.

This is why "competition" isn't necessarily good for boxing fans. It's great for the industry, as it drives rights prices upwards, but it acts like a monopoly to the fans, because production values fall and cost rises just to cover the acquisition of rights. As fans we are left with no other legal means of viewing the fight, so they have us by the balls.

Competition would be if all the channels shared the rights to a fight and the viewer went with whoever produced the best package.
