Its a shame people dont just judge on performance and results. If they did they would see Calzaghe is a fine fighter with a brilliant career. You dont have to like him to make objective statements.

    I agree!

I thought 24/7 was bull****. Calzaghe bored me to tears and just looking at his mullet head old man gives me the shits.

Jones was okay in spots but is still saying nonsense like; "If I lose who cares! If he loses then his reign is over?" Why even talk about losing? Did Hopkins talk about losing against Pavlik? No!

I genuinely think that Roy is gunshy in the ring and he needs to lose that train of thought quickly. However, if he's gunshy outside the ring then he's finished.

I'll be rooting for him against Calzaghe but that show was CRAP!

Calzaghe just doesn't have an exciting or engaging personality.

Is this surprising? NO. A majority of brits picked Hopkins and wanted him to win as this would only sweeten Joe Calzaghes victory.....Think I'm new here son? I know how you limeys think:yep

Since when did charisma make you a great fighter :think

Both Roy and Joe have repeatedly said that all bull**** aside as they are their own promotors, they're going to do it their way, and come fightnight, fans will get what they came for.

    It's as simple as that.

Yeah it wasn't exactly the most thrilling piece of television I've ever seen.

Both guys seem to be trying to hard...thus making it seem extremely fake and forced.

Yeah Joe was very fake and dull. Who wants to see Calzaghe arguing with his dad over which way to go on a run. Waste of time and making out they had a 'fiery' relationship. No need and fake. Fake is the best way to describe the hype.

Jones is in a different league to Calzaghe and will prove it. Jones is quicker and has loads more power and a much greater chin (not that its needed) and will get the late KO. Joe will get weighed down and his corner will offer no advice as usual. A lot like the Pavlik fight.

When Calzaghe wins, your inherent hatred will only grow and grow. I cant believe a decent guy from 1000's of miles away can anger you lot so much. He's a legend and we all should just live with it.
