24/7 vs. behind the ropes

Problem with 24/7 is it lacks the personality's. I mean some of the recent 24/7's we've had two fighters who couldn't speak a bar of English or just have basic use of it.

Also it seems to follow the same pattern as it will go from one fighter to another then makes a big thing out of nothing, Freddie Roach normally does a nice Oscar winning role to give you impression Pacquiao's looking ****ed and gonna get a beatdown if he don't fix up. Behind the ropes didn't really take me either but it didn't look to bad and tbh i'm just happy to watch something boxing related.

The one thing i like about 24/7 is the music, especially the early ones such as Jones vs Calzaghe and Pacquiao vs ODLH.

Some epic tracks/endings such as

ODLH-Pacquiao (Protectors of the Earth- Two Steps from Hell)
The ending is brilliant to this, both men on top of building shadow boxing.

The recent 24/7's haven't really done anything different...but tbh they've picked the wrong fights to have 24/7's for.

 

Nothing compares to Fight Camp 360 - miles better than the rest.

24/7 was good to begin, but now it's same old same old.

I literally had to force myself not to turn the Pac-Marg one off, it told me nothing new.

Behind the ropes, unless I'm mistaken, there's only been one so it's difficult to judge.

It's a nice addition to Sky's boxing, and something worth Sky+ing, but again, didn't tell you a lot. Great for the casual though.

 

24/7 is only entertaining when Roger Mayweather is around, without him its ****. His grocery shopping scene, Bill Gates/'Puters scene, and gasoline/Hattons equipment scene are Bafta/Emmy award worthy!

 

24/7 depends on the fighters that it is focusing on, Mayweather is usually good to watch when he is on it due to his entertainment value. The Pacquaio ones have started to follow the same storyline now, Roach complaining and being worried about PacMans focus.

The Fight360 episodes have been very good so far mainly due to the fact that they concentrate on more than the just the two fighters and the fighters featured apart from Dirrell are decent to watch.

The first Behind the Ropes was good but there is a fine line of over dramitising sumthin and I thought it got very close to that line. It also seemed to be very pro-Audley. The second episode will be interesting to see which fighters they are following due to so many being on the bill.

 

24/7 is amazing and at times utterly compelling- love it.

 

Yeah I'm sorry but the Americans certainly know how to do it on this one and 24/7 beats Behind The Ropes all day long.

Is beyond the ropes that shocking 24/7 rip off with the dodgy voice over?

I tell you what, I can't wait for the 24/7 for the probable Mosley v Pacquiao fight, should be a belter.

 

Yeah especially after Mosley's divorce settlement today where he has to pay $20,000 per month to Jin.

Pretty similar to the Ray Parlour case of a few years ago where his ex wife needed her lifestyle funded, I am surprised the courts in both countries can't see through it and tell women they don't need that much money for a decent standard of living.
