Alex Perez vs. Edvan Barros

Round 1

Right jab from Perez immediately starts knocking on the head of Barros. Perez begins to swat at Barros on the end of his jab and set him up for the southpaw 1-2. Barros tries to use a lot of side to side movement to set up chances to spring in and hit Perez in the torso. Three slapping hooks from Perez land on the upper backside of Barros. Perez gets pushed into a corner as Barros tries to touch him up. Perez gets him back on the end of the jab in the closing moments.

 

Round 2

Perez lands a right hook. Barros wraps his left arm around the body of Perez and zaps him with the right. Barros is getting countered as he tries to beeline past the jab of Perez. Barros traps the left arm of Perez every time Perez throws a 1-2 and each works with their free hand. Barros misses a right hand and shoulders Perez into the ropes; some good body work from Barros.

 

Round 3

Barros is popping a bit of a Mayweather shoulder at Perez, but Perez is merely watching him from across the ring and not giving him many opportunities to slip and show off. Barros thrusts a jab at Perez, and turns into a lead right down the same wide open central artery. Perez has his arms by his sides as Barros climbs in his tub and thumps it.
