Round 1

Farhood (after Cortez proclaims himself fair but firm): Speaking of firm, Kayode's Nigerian but he's built like a Greek god. :gayfight

Kayode shows a strong left jab and crosses his forearms to trap the return jab of Escalera. Kayode shows good upper body movement and jabs to the body of Escalera. Kayode with his left hand low, able to block with quick reflexes and attack explosively. Escalera backed up by a left hook. Escalera ducks under Kayode's double jab and into his armpit.

Round 2

Kayode continues to jab his way in, throws a couple of right hands to the body, and counters Escalera with a hard right up high. Escalera gets defensive and tries to swat with a left hook while backing up. Escalera throws a soft uppercut while turning Kayode. Escalera then lands a hard left hook. Kayode rips him to the body with six shots. They clinch. Kayode loads up a huge lead right that Escalera cocks his head away from at the last second.

 

Round 3

Kayode continues to be the aggressor, with Escalera jabbing and clinching. Kayode catches him with a left hook and uppercut combo that has him staggering to the ropes and tying up. They punch their way out on the inside and Kayode lands another big uppercut. Escalera has a soft lead right caught by the left glove of Kayode, who hits with his free hand.
