Germans always do big ring walks, but man they like some weird music.

I like the fact Godfrey walked to the ring by himself. Shows me he's ready for this fight, whatever happens.

Agreed, this ia sh*t music. Ever since David Hasselhoff quit singing, music went downhill.

I meant Huck there, no problem with eminem ;)

Godfrey got Eminem, nice. Huck some live band, some euro-Nichelback type.

The wannabe Braveheart extra singing the Deutsch anthem is outdoing him with some supreme sucking.

Rodriguez concise and straight to the point with the instructions.

    Round 1

Godfrey waves his right jab perpendicular in Huck's face and bounces around on his toes. Huck follows behind his turtle shell, and digs a right hand to the body, only glancing. Godfrey pushes Huck back a step with a body jab. Godfrey is very busy with the jab, landing few but keeping it in Huck's face. Huck is tentative and gets jabbed into the ropes. Huck then plods ahead as Godfrey jabs off the back foot into the opposite ropes. Huck throws his first power shots and Godfrey skips out of the way. Godfrey is landing with his jab now and mixing in lead lefts that Huck is blocking. Huck begins to open up on the inside and catches Godfrey with some partial right hands but misses his wild follow-up haymakers as Godfrey leaps out of the way. They clinch and Godfrey bangs him with his free left hand to the lower rib area. Huck chases, hopping side to side to try and trap Godfrey into a corner. Huck lands a body shot. Godfrey stays negative in the waning moments.

Huck didn't really do enough, although Godfrey's connect percentage was rather poor. It's a similar dichotomy to Alexander Kotelnik except that Godfrey did land a number of jabs.

    10-9 Godfrey

Huck won the first round with his aggression, Godfrey dancing away and getting hit occasionally, not offering anything back.
