Lacy is endangering his own health by continuing to fight. He is obviously no better than the average clubfighter at this point, or even worse as displayed in this fight, but he's tough enough to take the punches without falling down, which only makes it worse for him.

He has no speed, reflexes or defense, basically a human punching bag.

somebody needs to make a stand and protect jeff lacy before he gets seriously hurt.
he has nothing left anymore, and should'nt continue to box.

Jeff Lacy was once an excellent fighter, but was ruined by elite european opposition. Calzaghe ruined Lacy and Tsypko finished the job.
If Lacy was still fighting American SMWs/LHWs he would still be highly rated

He hasn't had a clean win since Pemberton.

Such a strange career path. I really don't want to say he was never that good, he was strong, fast, explosive back in his prospect days.

Maybe it was mental and maybe it was physical.. but even in the Calzaghe fight he never looked like himself from before, and never has since.

I have no clue, but the guy needs to quit.

This same sort of thing happend before. Taylor re-established himself at SMW after Pavlik beat him, but then Froch ruined him and Abraham finished the job

Calzaghe killed Lacy, his heart to fight died that night.

He is now only fighting for cash, and has lost his belief.

He should come over to England and fight DeGale on Warren's next card.

It's never a good sign when your money punch, the one your nicknamed from, is effectively neutered by rotator cuff issues.

I don't like to see Jeff fall this far and the sport's tough enough to succeed in without everyone kicking him on the way down just because they were the ones who were hyping him up so much and don't want to accept they got it wrong.

It's the fighter's right to keep going on, but I wish he'd just hang them up for his own sake.
