I know there's a lot of Khan ppv buy threads on here but just another qucik one.

I'd heard that fish eyes warren needs 250,000 buys to break even? Would that be right?

That's what has been going round and I believe that was the figure mentioned on Buncey's show.

The sad thing is they may actually get it.

Can anyone tell me how many ppv buys Hatton generated on SKY Box Office other than the Mayweather fight ?

The only thing I'd read that early estimates had been at 900,000 buys.

Hate to say it but this fight will probably be a huge success.

I think they'll screw over a million people on this one.

    Khan: 18 wins, 14 knockouts, 0 defeats
    Prescott: 19 wins, 17 knockouts, 0 defeats
    Someone has to lose.

Sounds like a good match to the casual fan who knows nothing about boxing.

    over a million? no chance

i think it will do somewhere between 250,000 and 350,000 which means they'll meet the target

Wow. When you put it like that, it's going to be an all out war.

I wonder if the Columbian boxing fans are under the impression that Khan is just another fall guy for their very own hot PPV legend?

Is it possible that FW has had the wool pulled over his eyes over this Prescott guy?

Of course not, but I will laugh if the MC announces "Somebody's "O" must go!"

the fact that this ppv is on at a decent time, rather than the early hours, will no doubt help the buy rate.

I can tell you guys that as of this morning the total buys was still in four figures and looking dreadful, it will not get anywhere near the break even figure now, even with the early evening trade on Saturday.

Whatever figures are published don't believe a word of it, guess the nays have it, this time, hopefully will send a good message to Sky and the SN team about what is acceptable and what is not

I don't think Khan has the popularity and I don't think the general public are as gullible as we think

There's no interest in this amongst the casual fan as far as I can detect

They're probably saying similar things to what we're saying. "Sure Khan has a decent record on paper but when you look at the quality his opponents it's not half as impressive."

It would be if there was a Columbian Frank Warren.

Yep. Like that guy of WWE? Armando Alejandro Estrada, the guy that Umanga first started with. Jeez having young boys gives you so much great info.
