This is the most recently named opponent for Tyson Fury on ShoBox this Friday. What a name, huh? It had originally been Jason Gavern, and then switched to Donnell Holmes before this last substitution. Power is 12-0 with 9 knockouts but has never fought outside of his home state of Michigan. Has anybody seen him? Is Fury in softer than he would have been with Gavern or Holmes, despite the unbeaten record and high KO %?
What a name! But I have no idea how good this guy is, but seeïng the opponents on his record this is a huge step up for him... Probably too big. And his KO percentage doesn't say anything at all if he's from, and only fighting in Michigan. Because there if you stun somebody they see it as floored, so they call a knockdown. :deal
This content is protected homer simpson changed his name to max power in one episode...and his luck and life all got better because of a cool name
There's no boxing footage, but I'm pretty sure this is him. [yt]0plKGA7KaT4[/yt] They reference his weight as being "about 250", which is only 13 lbs more than what he weighed for his fight back in January. The trainer also keeps calling phases of his workout "Round 7, Round 8" etc. This "Crossfit" company, according to the website linked on their Youtube user profile, is based in Michigan. :think Yeah, 99% sure this is our guy. We'll see on Friday. Could Tyson Fury get through all those drills without gassing? Rich "Super" Power versus Tyson Fury - you can't make this **** up.
This guy Max Power is for real. Acctually I have watched several of his fights over the internet. It seems as though Fury's other opponents are afraid of him.
Not to call Fury trash, but for a guy being so heavily promoted, they seem to be giving a soft touch fight. Actually I'll just go ahead and call Fury trash. Respect to him for being a fighter, but he is going to get beaten, and badly, the first time he steps up in class. I feel a bit sorry for him actually
