I was half a pound off for Fury...and 9 pounds off for Wilder. Now Wilder coming in at 212 is great news for Fury, I don't see Wilders punchers chance being more of a factor now ....I can't see Wilder winning this and no way should Fury not implement an inside mugging strategy now as soon as that bell rings....the later rounds all he needs is a jab and then land the boom for the knockout .
It's still lighter than he was when he beat Chisora. People need to remember he had an extra long camp for Wlad due to the postponement from Wlad's calf injury so had an extra month to get his weight down. I don't think it will make a huge difference an extra 10lbs on a man his size is nothing. Fury will lose due to his inactivity, you have to remember it's not even been 6 months since he returned, the extra weight is nothing compared to 3 years of boozing, drugs and depression.
I bit surprised to be honest, he seems to look pretty good. Perhaps as others have suggested he was a letter to convert fat to muscle. Even if that is the case however, weight is weight, and will still affect stamina. I would have thought 5 lbs lighter would be ideal
He looks tip top physically and mentally. Wilder is going to be bullied around the ring, outclassed , outboxed, outthought and outfought. War Fury !!!!!!
Clearly never seen fury box before. When has he ever gassed out?? In double figures when it comes to doing the distance. Can't punch remember!!!
What if he's gained 10lbs of lean muscle mass while significantly dropping his body fat percentage? Looking at his torso and shoulders this looks to be the case to me.
