Wilder's latest weigh in smells pedcheat in his earlier bouts coming in at the 220-230 range.

Wilder is a tremendously flawed fighter. Fury has many weaknesses himself. Both are millions of miles away from the perfect fighter, if such a thing even exists. It's just in a division such as the heavyweights, flaws aren't put under the microscope and exploited as often as in the rest of the sport. I.e. you can get away with a lot.

As for Fury's conditioning it's obvious he's in poor shape. Many active people who hold 9-5 jobs are in better shape than him, that really is appalling if you think about it. In the fight that's just another thing that could contribute to his downfall.

I don’t think so. His gameplan is about using his legs.

Physique literally means nothing when assessing the stamina / fitness of an individual.

Gerald Washington fight—he outlasted him by having better legs and then unloaded.

Stiverne II—used legs to create a weird angle and then dropped a bomb on Stiverne.

He keeps power and can create angles late in fights by having good legs; it’s not necessarily about running around the ring.

Yeah. Thought the same thing myself.
It looks like he dabbled with 'roids for a few fights. Because he was LEAN at 228 too.
It's hard to explain how a guy grew from lean 200 pounds to a lean 228 over the years, and a couple of years later reduced down to a lean 212 .... without 'roids being factor.

I can totally believe even a man of his slight frame can build and hold those 228 pounds naturally, because he's tall ... BUT when he loses 16 pounds of that lean muscle as an active athlete, it suggests he didn't get that heavy naturally to begin with.

He's never looked the part though.
Everyone was laughing at his love handles before the Wlad fight ...... including Wlad.

Loads of people have beautiful bodies and spent hours in the gym and eat right. It's different to boxing though, isn't it.

Also didnt they start with more tests before the first Wilder-Ortiz fight fell of. People suspected a Wilder pedcheat cover up already then and now it all just adds up to that.

Coming in lean and rehydrated. Wilder IS just a natural cruiser. Would love to find the old quotes of people speaking about it. Can be in some youtubevideo aswell.

Also more fuel for the Joshua bandwagoners.

Yeah, I guess somewhere along the line Wilder either was forced to come off or cut down on the PEDs .... or decided they didn't do much for him anyway .... possibly a combination of both.

They made the excuse that he had been ill for Ortiz, causing 214.
    But he's even lighter now.
