i talk about him but i know that he is beatable. meanwhile you joyboys thinks floyd is unbeatable and would rather have him fight his fights on fantasy land and count how much he is making.

And seeing the country stop for a few hours, watching the Pacquiao fights, does not mean blind devotion and *******ess of 100 million Filipinos.

The fights are almost always Sunday mid mornings/noon time, so no work, no school, everyone's free.

And think of it like the world cup finals, and your home country is in the finals. It doesnt matter if you don't like your team's players personally, you just wanna win the whole thing.

The difference is, the Philippines has one man, instead of a team, and we have a world cup atmosphere 2-3 times a year, instead of once every 4 years.

No not at all. We just know he exposes Pacquiao is all. And we joyboys bring numbers up because they actually disspell alot said about Manny being popular and all. You guys go on to say Floyd couldn't fill in 50,000 seats. We'll even with 50,000 seats Manny couldn't even still bring in as much money as Floyd did on PPV buys and at the gate. Facts player. Numbers don't lie like disillusioned Pac fans.Sadly I feel nobody is falling for the sorry ass hype of this fight as well. This thread will be better served when we see how many seats were given away.

You know what surprised me is it's mostly filipinos searching up Floyd on google. When this is all said and done, I think the philipines will have a longer memory of Young Mayweather than any other nation, because of the way Floyd antagonized and terrorized the filipino national hero.

America has reached a milestone of 300million people and is very diverse unlike the phillipines where I'm sure and please correct me if I'm wrong but made mostly entirely of phillipinos. Theres no comparison. A golfer beats out Floyd in popularity here in the U.S. We have so many outlets while in the phillipines Pacquiao is a congressman, actor, singer, boxer. You brought up blind devotion. People in america are actually not as blind and bias as you make it out to be. Floyd is accurately depicted as a "man". Manny on the other hand.... let me just say it's funny how theres no negative press and he can do no wrong. That means he hasn't really been a star for too long. I call it the free pass stage.

Actually, if you go to the Philippines, Floyd is almost never talked about by the general public, unless you open up the topic first.

    He's not in everyone's nightmares.

Nobody really hates him so much, especially before he talked trash about sushi and yellow and stuff like that (and even that wasnt headline news out here)

Most people here think he's just some quick, athletic boxer who loves to talk trash who didnt get to fight Pacquiao.

I honestly feel the people who followed boxing were more intimidated by Morales, entering the rematch, than the posssibility of fighting Floyd.

Your contradicting yourself. If the place was sold out it would be hugely in part because of "blind Mexican pride". Maybe many Mexicans really don't support Margarito as much as you think. He'll get support, but not like what Julio Cesar Chavez got.

yeah floyd is actually exposing pacquiao by doing some racist video ****, beating up his girl and having tantrums on his interviews. and given that he is outdoing pac on PPV, he is still quite one jealous guy. you guys prefer not seeing the fight made if floyd would not make more than pacquiao. you guys prefer floyd fighting his fights in fantasy land and that what makes you joyboys delusional.

When did I ever say that Americans were biased?

Pacquiao won a seat in some tiny province down south, populated by a few thousand people. It's not like he won senator and got voted in by half the country.

He makes movies and albums, but they were never hits. they're more vanity projects. he makes them coz he likes it. I've never met anyone I know who's bought any of his albums.

    And no negative press? Hah.

You have not been to the Philippines, I'm sure. Browse the online papers from the Philippines, since 2001, and you'll see a shitload of negative articles about him.

    Go check it out yourself.

    People know he's no saint.

But we like watching his fights.

Poor Cowboys fans dont have a season left, so might as well go to the fight and see some real athletes compete.

Once again youre making up stupid assumptions. I want nothing more than to see Floyd/Pacquiao. And Floyd makes more because he's a better businessman. You guys make fun of Dancing with the Stars and WWE but it's far more better than "distractions" used every fight by Team Pacquiao. And your bring up delusional fans again. None are worse than Pacquiao fans. No Floyd fan is dumb enough to say Floyd is a top10,top5 atg like so many on this site alone. Plus were not so "hate" invested. You don't see whole threads started by Floyd fans trolling Pacquiao. Youre talking about fantasy but your assumptions stated so far fall well into the fantasy category.
