    his face looked trimmer

Arreola did lose weight in stretches. On his early HBO days Walker to Klitscho he was in the 250s. Then he got down into the 230's around the time he fought Releford then rose to the 240's but got back to the 230's.

I saw the Ruiz pics and figured he hadnt lost crazy weight but like Arreola maybe lost a little was thinking he would come in around 260 or so

Can't help but feel he isn't bothered. AJ will bring his A game for sure but it looks like Ruiz is just cashing out.

    He's had his 15 minutes.

    He didn't weigh 282lbs.

For the first fight he weighed in in his boxers and a bandanda and turned in at 268.

In this fight he weighed in in a sombrero, joggers, vest, with at least his phone in his pocket, possibly his shoes (didn't get a proper look because it doesn't really matter). At a minimum you got to knock off 5lbs for that stuff. I'm going to bet it would be more.

That's 9lbs more than last time. Last time, Ruiz knocked Joshua TFO. People are behaving as if this difference is something that matters. It doesn't matter. Beyond all shadow or hope of argument it doesn't matter. It doesn't matter even a little bit. It's meaningless.

And look at the forum. People going absolutely crazy.

Of course it matters that a complete mess of a guy as a top "athlete" gets to sit atop the sport.

And to Just put more weight on, pfftt..

Some people get it, it's not good.

    That's an opinion and fine.

But nor is it the point.

The point is that people are behaving like Ruiz weighing a handful of pounds more than last time will make a difference to the outcome of the fight.

    It won't.

AJ is the difference-maker here, if there is to be a difference.

He told us all he was going to take more care of himself and make more effort to look a little better when he became champ, yet he's heavier and couldn't care less. The guy deserves to lose, don't need 'athletes' like him in the game, thanks.

It's akin to having butterbean as champ ffs

Spencer Fearon said when he recently interviewed Ruiz they went to a Chinese restaurant and Ruiz did not hold back!! Seems he has not trained properly or just gorged himself too much in the last few weeks! Especially in the face and neck area he looks all flabby now!! If Joshua coming in lighter means he's able to box and move more Ruiz is gonna gas quickly!!

I think the fact that Andy has gained a lot of weight for the rematch is very worrying, I do not see how is can be spun in to a positive for him.

I was not expecting that, same weight would of been fine.

Why not chump? It’s performance that matters not looks. He is an athlete not a magazine cover model or bodybuilder.

Dude is fast as hell! What chiseled true heavyweight has faster hands that him!!!

All of you girls shaming Ruiz but when it came to fury he had skill so his flab didn’t matter ‍♂️
