    Round 1

Cunningham jabs and hooks as he circles slowly. Licina comes forward slapping out jabs which Cunningham blocks. Cunningham pokes with his jab and uses a lot of defensive movement on the outside. Licina tries to duck down and tackle his way inside but can't. Licina follows slowly, hanging back and pulling his head away from Cunningham jabs. Licina loads up on a big overhand right that sails past Cunningham's neck. Cunningham gets on his bike. Flurry to seal the round by Cunningham; they exchange until the bell and Licina gets a late shot in.

    Round 2

Cunningham is blocking a lot of wide punches and throwing straight, stinging 1-2s to the body. Licina is using a lot of herky jerky movement, coming at Cunningham like a slingshot with overhand rights after leaning all the way back. Cunningham is caught a few times and the crowd cheers.

    Round 3

Cunningham jabs forward and hooks to the body, throwing everything in combination. Licina is just putting his forearms up to intercept him and hooking at him with both hands while inching away. Now Licina comes forward as Cunningham jabs on the back step. Licina has a 1-2 blocked and then eats one before he can reassemble his guard. Cunningham lands a double jab at mid-range and then slides outside. They clinch briefly until a break is called. Cunningham pokes through with a glancing lead right, which is the last clean punch landed by either as they paw with jabs until the bell.

    Round 4

Cunningham jabs and circles left with long, calculated steps evenly spaced apart and breaks up his movement every now and then by hopping backward a few steps to increase distance and play to his reach advantage. Cunningham lands several jabs and Licina doesn't get close to him for the first two minutes. There are some near-exchanges when Licina moves at angles to cut him off but Cunningham ducks and counters blind and neither of them makes any contact. Licina is right in front of Cunningham but not throwing much but an odd jab. Cunningham shoeshines to the body.

Licina has had a few moments where he landed well, particularly in the 2nd - but I haven't seen a round you could really claim for him so far.

    Round 5

Cunningham is the busier boxer, throwing lots of high jabs while crab-trotting around Licina and eventually spiraling inside where he shoulders up and launches volleys of body shots while Licina bounces some clubbing blows off his back. Cunningham comes forward landing jabs and uppercuts in combination and Licina tries to burst through with a single right hand but can't see the target with all the leather in his face.

Cunningham always seems a bit one dimensional. He's doing the better work but I can't help but think he's not mixing up what he's doing enough.
