Point taken, I'm always striving for that level of self actualization and many of us try to reach but I've fallen short every chance I get so your right I should also try and be a bit more humble. I get a bit defensive at times but its mostly in good humor never any beef. PBF probably has a black book full of tricks and game plans that only manifest while in the ring battling a formadable foe, I can't blame anyone for assuming he has an anwer for merely every offense that comes his way....no one has proven otherwise so it logical to think the man does have plan A,B,C etc etc. I'm just not sold on his perfection quite yet though like I stated before while Cotto has the ability to derail PBF I don't think he will do it just yet. I've learned a lot about the fight game but I'm not a fighter I rather have a drink of Hennessy and a puff of earth over a warm fire. I love boxing watching and training but I would never be a pro fighter I just don't have the mental fortitude needed to pound someones face into chuncks of meat unless they mean to inflict harm on me or a loved one. Oh and their are plenty of village idiots on ESB but they are merely for entertainment most of them are closet masochist so you can either ignore them and keep them begging or abuse them and become their sexual puppy. You pick :good :smoke

In all actuality I think Relentless is one of the more interesting people on the board. He knows his stuff on occasion and says the dumbest **** just to get a rise out of people. Besides the whole Taylor Pavlik 2 prediction he is a reasonably credible guy. Oh and then there is the gay stuff he says.:verysad

So you agree with the gay stuff you say?! As far as your comment about the fight being close; there is an age old saying 'close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades.' Still lost crediblity.:smoke

Can you compare Cotto v Mayweather to Trinidad v Hopkins?

That's a pretty good comparison. The height, reach, and style difference is comparible. I've never thought of that, but that's an interesting comparison.

If you mean compare in terms of how big it'll be, i'd say yeah, why not?
You have 2 undefeated fighters, 1 of them the p4p king who's been fighting at the world championship level for about a decade, the other a borderline top-5 p4p player (maybe firmly top-5 by the time this fight happens) who's a popular crowd-pleaser, and you have a classic style confrontation. It should be really really big.

I see it being the same outcome but in a different fashion .... Tito's corner threw in the towel ... I see Cotto getting knocked out early in mid - rounds.
