Cotto hasn't beat anyone at the top of their game ... He's been getting by on some bull**** ... Torres had him rocked but ran out of gas ... The same can be said for Judah. Mosley just doesn't have it .... and Malignaggi is a joke ... I like his character but he's going to get his ass kicked if he keeps calling out Hatton.

did you see his face when he was asked about a rematch with Cotto after the fight??? ---->:admin priceless. Max did have a point, but Q still has a lot to prove as a titlist. Right off top his title isn't going to be respected as much as Cotto's title simply because Cotto destroyed Q.

Hummm. True, True, True, True I would say lowblows though, true, TRUE about Mali. Hatton will mop him up. Mali's only defense will be his hair gel so hopefully it will cause him to be a little to slick for Hatton to hold.

He's going to feed off of those up and coming fighters taking him lightly. I can see Berto vacating his #1 WBC ranking in order to fight for Quintana's title.

I don't see Maliganaggi beating anyone else in defense of that title ... he's funny though --

You got Juan Urango, Junior Witter, Ricardo Torres, Ricky Hatton, and JL Castillo still looming around the 140 division. I don't see Malignaggi beat any of those guys and until Hatton loses I don't see any 140 pounder beating Hatton. They can talk all that **** about Hatton losing and all but he's still the universally recognized undisputed champion.

if Berto does that and beats Q, which i can definately see happening then I think it would give more respectablity to the WBO WW championship b/c of what i had previously said. IMO Berto wouldn't take Q lightly b/c it would be his first fight for a strap. We both know that Q doesn't do too well against power punchers. Berto would take him to the deep end on the pool.

Most already know I feel PBF would win an SD against Cotto but I get the feeling Cotto is being terribly underrated by some of you fellas. I can't stand talking about this fight anymore its driving me nutz.

This thread kinda spun off of the beaten path, so it not your average PBF over cotto, cotto over PBF, PBF ducks etc thread. actually pretty good convo.. minus relentless of course.

The convo is pure quality it just leans a bit much towards PBF and rightfully so as Cotto would be a signifigant underdog....but I just feel the fight will be much closer than many think. At least I hope so.

The only thing about the fight leaning toward PBF is the fact that he's the king of the hill right now. Cotto is a great challenger but no one has even really come close to cracking the pbf puzzle.

Cottos combined speed and power would pose some problems for Mayweather, but his jabs to the body and defense would slowly win over the fight. Cotto in front after 6 by one or two points. Mayweather wins the fight by a 2 or 3 point decision as he counter punches Cotto and pounds him in the later rounds.

What is funny to me is when ricky won a WW belt no one said he wasn't a WW. When he fought PBF at WW, people were saying he was stronger than PBF. :huh I wonder if the cotto fight happens will people say that Cotto is a LWW if he loses.... Probably so.

Floyd never gets any credit and if he wins ... it will either be he's Floyd he was supposed to win or Cotto just wasn't good enough or something ... thats usually how it goes.
