Is that the only arguement you have toward Floyd?

Where does Mayweather v Cotto fit into all this?

The bottom line is that Cotto will lose to Floyd and everyone knows that -- people are just hoping that Cotto will do it but its not a sure thing ... i'm pretty sure there won't be too many non Boriquas betting on Cotto.

It will be a more disgusting re-play of Mayweather v Hernandez or better yet Hopkins v Trinidad.

I called the Hatton fight as being a re-play of Mayweather v Chavez and it was simular but a much brutal ending.

Cotto, Margarito, Cintron ... isn't anything new to Floyd ... they are carbon copies of fighters he fought early on in his career or in the amateurs.

Cotto isn't a fighter that Floyd has never seen ... But Floyd is a fighter that everyone knows Cotto hasn't faced.

And Cotto cuts ... hm hm hm

He cut against Judah, Urkal, and Mosley

There's really no one out there right now that could beat this guy -- you would have to make a mythical match-up between him and an ATG.

People are just hoping that this guy loses because it doesn't seem real to have a fighter beat everyone he's faced.

Maybe boxing fans just want to see him try to prove he is the best from 154 on down like he says. . . sying it is one thing - he needs to at least try to prove it against the best possible opposition. As of now he has shown he would rather duck fighters, "retire" or wrastl on WWE. He is a sad excuse for a #1 p4p boxer.

Who is at 154 on down that can beat him ... Vernon Forrest is at tail end of his career and is more concerned with getting paid that having a significant victory ... Corey Spinks, is Corey Spinks .... He already beat Oscar

Yeah Cotto is looming but he still has to prove himself .... he's not on Floyd's level and definitely has to prove himself before he gets that chance.

Are you forgetting that Floyd is the recognized champ?

Margarito took himself out the picture losing to Williams, Williams took himself out the picture losing to Quintana.

Cintron was never in the picture ... crying like a ***** after losing to Margarito and putting up a shitty performance against Feliciano.

    Berto is too green

Cotto is best possible but like I said he's new to the game ... hasn't fought a still challenger and has to prove himself.

I'm pretty sure these guys are looking for the money more than the glory and they know that once that contract is signed ... no matter if they win or lose they will get paid and be set for life.

Early on in his career he wanted to fight the best, just simply because he wanted the prestige, now that he's beaten everyone there is to face ... he now is looking for big bucks. He paid his dues and is due for the neccessary cash.

Cotto hasn't paid his dues !!

IMO Cottos win over SHane was better than any of Frauds win.

Fraud had long since ducked AM before the loss to PW, its a mute point. Baldy lost to Vernon much worse than AM lost to PW by the way.

Yeah I agreed w/ you ... but theres no one worthy to even mention.

Cotto has been a champion for 3 years and still hasn't beat anyone of any significance ... and him fighting the winner of Cintron v Margarito would give him clout over a significant opponent.

There is no one out right now that can beat him ... people are just hoping and praying

Cottos win over Shane was better than any Fraud victory. Cotto is more than worthy. I guess thats why Fraud is ducking him.

A win over Sugar Shane hasn't ment anything since 04' so a win in 07' was far beyond meaningless.

Shane hasn't fought anyone of any significance since then ... his 3 of his best notable 4 opponents - he lost to them.

Shane is not on Floyd level and turned down a bout between the two in 98'

Floyd has better defense ... better weapons ... and better skill ...

only thing that Shane had in his favor was speed and power ... he lost the power moving up and down in weight and the his speed has deminished at his old age.

Add to that that he had 4 L's on his record ... he hadn't had a title since he beat Oscar in 03'

In fact his whole claim to fame as a pro was beating Oscar ... he hasn't beat anyone of any significance besides him.

He lost 2wice to Forrest and 2wice to Winky ...

He beat unheard of (at the time) Estrada, who has never did anything of promise in the sport, Cruz who lost to Sharmba Mitchell of all people ... and a faded Fernando Vargas ... who suffered from back problems and an eating disorder.

Now if Cotto beat Shane in 03 and won convincingly w/ no dispute or controversay then it wouldve been a great accomplishment but a 36 yr old Shane (forget about it)

Everyone knows Shane was a shade of his former self ...

To make things worse ... he still kept up w/ Cotto and made the close fight. Alot of people had him winning the fight ....

How is a guy who went 12 w/ Paulie Malignaggi going to fair against Floyd?

Do you honestly think Cotto can win?

    and How?

Uh no ... Oscar beat Mayorga ... who's still live and had a belt at the time they fought.

I hold the win over Mayorga higher than Mosley's win over Vargas who, DLH already beat.

Oscar won't even think about fighting Collazo ... Collazo's not on his level, neither is Estrada and Cruz.

A victory over Oscar holds more weight than a victory over Shane any day... he's the most accomplished fighter in the game to date.

Estrada + Cruz = stepping stones one lost to up and coming berto and the other to Sharmba Mitchell crying out loud. They were no where near Mosley level at the time they fought or afterwards.

It doesn't matter how many rounds he got ... DLH has more experience on the amateur and pro level.

DLH has more championship bouts ... and fought more well known/more accomplished opposition.

Collazo hurt his hand during that fight and did I mention that he wasn't on Shane's level? add to that he was coming off a loss to Ricky Hatton.

before he fought Estrada (stepping stone) he was 1-4 in his last 5 fights. His father had suggested he hang em up and the whole boxing wold had written him off.

He even thinks he lost to Oscar the second fight and declined a 3rd fight because he thought it was rigged. He had trouble w/ Floyds style as Oscar imitated it to a degree in their second fight. He couldn't find a target to hit and stopped punching from the 9th round on. He had flurries but nothing effective ... not even worth of calling a shoe shine.

A win over Oscar is more significant than a win for Mosley ... he's more accomplished and has a better resume.

Even the guys Oscar lost to are better than the guys that Mosley lost to.

Yeah Mayorga won a vacant but he brought something to the table ... Estrada, Cruz, Vargas, did nothing for Mosley's career ... alot of people don't even remember Mosley fight Cruz and Estrada ... unless you check boxrec ... but i've seen those fight and wasn't impressed with them. Oscar fights A and B level fighters ... Mosley fights B and C w/ the exception of DLH & Winky.
