You made your point and I truly understand that ... I will counter by saying Mosley is more active but not better. Mosley has always been a gym rat and he's worked harder than most, but talent wise he doesn't compare. He's a step below Oscar ... Oscar is better fighter, just not as athletic as Mosley.

Thats a SSM hating crock of **** craft persepective:good You overlook Collazo and act like Shane didnt look like a TOP fighter vs Cotto:| SSM's history is one of taking the biggest risks. ****ing Floyd turned tail for Wright, Floyd. At that time? Primadonna Boy wouldnt have fared any better:nono Ditto for Forrest:yep

Floyd's history is avoiding certain fights in each weight class. Its called the Free Money/Risk Reward Promotional Strategy. A strategy that is wise but to be truly great you must face THE BEST GUYS AND WIN.
That time is never more appropriate than NOW. If Floyd seeks greatness? Its time to clean out 47. There should be a couple big risk/reward fights or two possibly available after that.

Oh and if the 135lb version of Floyd fought the 135lb of the undefated Champion version of SSM, with a 100& Ko ratio? Floyd gets KTFO or beaten by a wide margin. :good Funny how Floyd picks on Oscar and ignores the better fighter in SSM.

No worries though, COTTO HAS EARNED AND PROVEN HIS STAUS AT 147!!!! He's first. Yet if DLH is still relevant 2 Floyd Toy? Then certainly SSM is after that.

Judah and Hatton were both ranked top 10 by the ring at the WW division, so was Baldomir ...

So what are you talking about?

Before the fight w/ Floyd ... Hatton was ranked #1 by the WBC at WW -- being the rightful belt holder to Cotto WBA strap.

Judah is still top 10 despite 2 L's

Baldomir is a top 10 SWW now

Assassin ... my boy told me last night that Shane Mosley was waay better than Oscar --

I really respect his opinion and he knows alot more about the two that I do --
He think's Oscar's washed up and should retire ... this fight with Mayweather is pointless ... but we still probably going to watch it.

I'm interested to see what happens to the Judah v Mosley winner ...

    You're boy is RIGHT:D

The facts are that head to head its true AND DLH wouldnt fight Wright or Forrest.

FYI? PBF UD and SSM UD:good

Floyd should fight Cotto after DLH, that was the position EARNED in the Cotto vs SSM head matchup.

Its easy to see that Shane performed and fared better than DLH did floyd or will again.

Cotto can't beat Mayweather ... I see him either getting upset by Gomez or losing to Margarito (when he gets past Cintron) ...

If he gets past these two stiff tests then I will give Cotto the respect but until then ... he's an unproven fighter and hasn't fought anyone.

Its a rumor that Bob Arum is prepared to give PBF 20m and that HBO is backing the fight after DLH v Mayweather II ...

What do you guys think ... Alot of people have strayed away from the subject but now that this rumor has evolved ... its time to discuss the bout.

Cotto has two (2) proposed fights coming up against (2) legit threats to his undefeated record ... if he gets past those two, which he is suposed to, then he gets his wish and his biggest payday against the p4p king PBF. (by far the best opponent that Cotto has ever faced amateur or pro)

to quote you fitz from a calz thread.... if you are what you say you are, a superstar have no fear the camera's here!

Will cotto shine in those bright lights or get his lights knocked out? Probably the later of the two.

Well according to Fitz Cotto is in for a possible upset against Gomez, will most likely get into a brawl with Margo and KTFO and he will basically get dominated by PBF and TKO'd by mid rounds. Yet Fitz is a self pledged Cotto fan......with fans like him who needs enemies. :yep

I am a Cotto fan ... i'm just calling the fights how I see them ... I just said I had a feeling about Cotto getting upset against Gomez, but he is supposed to win. Stevie Johnston was supposed to beat Castillo and JCC was supposed to beat Randall.

I truely feel thats how the Margarito fight will go - and if you check my past posts ... I said if Cotto uses his jab, uses the ring properly, and shows Margarito's body some love ... then it should be an easy night. But the latin brovado will make Cotto get lured into a brawl.

Cotto is the better boxer -- but will he box? I don't know ... he going to have the crowd behind him and he'll be eagar to please.

As far as the PBF fight -- thats just logic ... I know how both guys fight and I know the tendacies of both fighters. Mayweather has commented on Cotto's chin years ago and I know that he'll make that chin the focal point for his pin point pot shots.

When was the last time Cotto brawled his way to victory, there's a thin line between a well measured attack and just swinging for the lights. Brawling is the last thing Cotto does. You can comment on someones chin all you want till your blue in the face and what creditbility does that have until you step in the ring????
