    Hmm... Spence may have mismanaged his weight for this fight. I expected him to be 158-160.

    Could Mikey pack on even more weight before tonight?

    I could be wrong but I thought IBF second day weigh in is no more than 10lbs, putting Spence just under where he needs to be.

    Mikey at 152 is clearly undersized for the division and it’ll show tonight.

    If Mikey hits their target weight and Spence comes in as light as he did in his last fight the weight difference between them will be just 1lb :risas3:

    The weight Mikey was this morning is probably what he's going to be in the ring, give or take a pound or two. Spence is probably going to add at least another 5 lbs.

    Spence's heaviest recorded ring weight is 162 which was for an over the welter limit fight where he'd weighed in at 149 the previous day. So let's just assume he comes in at 160 when he he has to make 147, and Mikey doesn't add anymore weight and comes in at 152, that's an 8lb difference, about the same as what the difference between Loma and Rigo was and what the difference between Loma and Linares was.

    Still not as big of a difference as Floyd vs Maidana, Maidana rehydrated to 165 pounds compared to Mayweather's 148 , This was reported by showtime and is still stated on boxrec

    What's even more crazy is mikey rehydrated heavier than floyd ever did for fights at 154 where he weighed in at 150/151 fighting against de la hoya,cotto and canelo for 154lb fights.

    Yeah, that's interesting. I always find it fascinating that Maidana was that big, because he didn't look it.

    Mikey is a bit naturally pudgy, though. You could see at the second weigh in that there was a hint of flab around his waist. Some people just never get rid of that extra pound or two no matter how great their shape is.

    They got canleos and floyds weights the wrong way around? dam thats crazy tho floyd still 150 when he fought canelo at 154, I wasn't sure if that was official.

    I bet Spence hits 160-162 by tonight and Mikey should be 154 or 155.

    If Garcia gets past the 10th things will be very interesting IMO

    I'd agree with this. If that is the case, it's safe to say Mikey's optimal weight is 140 and he should go back down whether he wins or loses tonight. Doesn't belong at 147 at all considering an 8lbs difference is about the difference between different weight classes usually.

    Yeah at least floyd was shredded at his lighter weight, mikey is still significantly lighter but hes also carrying a lot of fat, take away that fat and just measure lean body mass he would deffo be smaller than floyd. But dam its still crazy tho how floyd basically wasn't cutting any weight at all for welter weight and was still so dominant, I don't believe pacquio was cutting any weight either would always see him having to eat **** loads of rice etc at 147 and he looked small vs floyd. I gotta take my hat of two both of those guy's for that reason.
