If Arum came up with this he'd be praising it like Jesus introduced him to it.

if you understood anything about business you would know that these first few cards are called lost leaders.

You put something out in front of the public to prove your product is strong and gain support (which he obviously is getting) after people get a bite of the lost leaders they keep coming back for more (which is where the advertisers step in and will be stepping in since they are doing so well with the 16-21 demographic)

keep trying top rank scum sucker. Al haymon will put you to sleep for the 10 count soon.

The viewership went down from the first NBC show. It had better start trending upward soon.

What I don't get is the production: how there seems to be no hype and/or atmosphere. They mentioned on Boxnation they have to hire the venue for three days to assemble the stage thing the fighters enter on.

My only issues with pbc is that Al wants to make a closed circuit, only have his own fighters, and force feed people the pbc 'brand' rather than watching fighters we like

Case in point, uniform walk outs, boring pbc music, and every guy is dressed in the same suit pre fight. It's obvious that he's trying to follow the UFC model and get people to watch his show just because of the brand, and not for the actual fighters fighting, again like the ufc

So then what happens to other fighters around the world that aren't with Al? Tough luck? Can we kiss the days of unification and the best fighting the best goodbye? Al forced his fighter to drop a belt because he didn't want him to fight outside of the pbc brand, I don't understand how more people aren't upset about that?

 20M+? That would make it one of the highest rated shows on American TV. Yeah, I'm pretty sure Haymon has a business model where his boxing series has to be one of the highest rated shows on TV to be successful. I don't know why anyone is throwing out numbers when they don't know what they are talking about. No one knows their operating expenses or the revenues.

the first card had bigger names in it and it was the initial show. I think the trend will show a very high initial show, a dip and then a gradual increase from there as new fans get picked up. The next card in May with Andre Dirrell vs James DeGale will probably sink in viewers.

The NBC card in June is rumored to have Keith Thurman (possibly against Shawn Porter) and Adrien Broner on it though which will have a strong viewership.

Although the upward trend of viewers is reliant on good entertaining fights, last weekend's card was decent but the opening card had bad/boring matchups on it iirc which could turn away casuals/first time viewers
