Nobody hates Al Haymon what is this myth of hatred ? what some people hate is Al Haymons potential plans and in general the direction of boxing being a closed shop structure like ufc.

So Haymon is spending $4m+ per show which is losing viewers and the OP wants to celebrate.

Maybe if he puts better fights on, he would do better? there's a thought.

But no, he's so busy protecting his fighters and serving them up mismatches that his own product is failing before his eyes.

It has to be said .... It wont be free for long so make the most of it.
These fighters Garcia, Thurman, Broner and Khan all know they can get more from a PPV event and most of them ( Amir Con probably not lol ) will end up being PPV buys in the near future. So like I said make the most of it.

take your "wow" back to the Ricki Lake show

    Thurman-Guerrero - mismatch
    Broner-Molina - mismatch
    Mares-Reyes - mismatch
    Berto-Lopez - 50/50
    Porter-Bone - mismatch
    Arreola-Harper - mismatch (going in)
    Stevenson-Bika - mismatch
    Beterbiev-Campillo - mismatch
    Garcia-Peterson - mismatch (going in)
    Quillin-Lee - 50/50

It's a sorry list of fights, why would anyone be interested?

Barely anything to whet the appetite on that list, compared to what he could be putting on and what he's (over)paying these fighters.

Like the bookmakers? because Garcia was heavy favorite. Porter-Bone was a substitute but who was picking Roberto Garcia? .....exactly.

Broner-Molina turned out to be a mismatch, a very boring one but granted it didn't look terrible going in even though Molina was coming off two losses. I'll concede that, but here's the thing, nobody asked for that fight, nobody wanted Garca-Peterson either. He's giving the public shit they don't want and not giving them anything to get hype about.

How many fights on that list can you honestly say the boxing public were clamouring for and shouting for?

The guy has one of the biggest stables in boxing yet this is the crap he serves up to the masses.

What's the difference with him creating his belt vs The garbage IBO or WBO belts? It's up to the boxers willing to compete for it. There's a million belts anyway... so I'm not going to hate on him for trying to create something

Thank you. That's what I can't stand about Haymon. Instead of giving us Thurman vs Khan or Thurman vs Porter he gives us Thurman vs Guerrero. Instead of giving us Broner vs Garcia he gives us Broner vs Molina. Instead of Stevenson vs Beterbiev he gives us Stevenson vs Bika and Beterbiev vs Campillo. He has the guys to make the matches we want to see and he doesn't make them. How can anyone call these good fights? They aren't competitive and there isn't even decent action.

Anyone who could be impressed by the fights so far has **** poor standards. HBO hasn't done a great job yet this year, but we already had Kovalev vs Pascal with Matthysse vs Provodnikov, Mayweather vs Pacquiao, and Gonzalez vs Sosa upcoming. Showtime gave us Gary Russell Jr vs Jhonny Gonzalez. So far Haymon hasn't shown results like the guys he's trying to overthrow. And what he has done is take many top guys out of the mix where they would have been fighting other top guys instead of mismatches on HBO or Showtime. He's made a third brand which is further watering down the product.

It's free, and some of the match-ups so far have exceeded many undercard PPV fights as well as some main events.
