Why, mainly because it would turn his left into his lead, and hide his right hand in back, therefore making it difficult to see. Unfortunately, only a few fighters today very up their ****nal. It's no secret why Khan fought to back to back south pa in lead to a Floyd match, he just looks against them because the can't get in position to put any kind of leverage on their power punches. Am I missing something or does Number 1 make no sense? GGG does this, against Orthodox fighters, he himself is also Orthodox which means the jab hand and the rear hand line up, so he can catch and fireback without crossing his arms. In a SP vs Orth encounter their lead hands line up, so for him to catch with his backhand he would have to reach across himself, leaving a massive opening for Khans right hand
