You can find them on ebay and other online shopping sites too, I wonder if those are any good compared to Dick Smith ones.
Do you need a special arial to get digital? i watch tv through cable foxtel, and only need a set of rabbit ear arial to view commercial television when i'm not using foxtel.
'We will evaluate it when the four fight nights are over,' a Ten spokesman said. "Boxing is certainly a franchise we hope to have a continuing association with, but, like all of our sports, it must give an appropriate return to the network". 'Any sign of crowd trouble could jeopardise the entire deal'. Promoter Fidel Tukel has banned gang colours in the audience. "We will have the strongest security possible, colours won't be allowed, there will be dress restrictions, and we will be very strict on levels of intoxication". more: http://www.brisbanetimes.com.au/spo...-boxings-latest-freeforall-20090627-d02i.html
Was tempted to attend the Melbourne Channel ONE card at the Melbourne Town Hall but might be out of my price range. Sounds like it's going to be a table only configeration, and prices per seat are $150, $200 and $250. Does include a 3 course meal and drinks though - so perhaps reasonable value after all?
the melbourne cards a disgrace, compared to all the others jeese its a typically weak card.. the rest are tops, mirovic v hoppa plus edwards vs sio thats enough to get me excited!! thats four quality domestic fights..
just a question about the digital tv issue.... my dvd player has an internal receiver so i can get all the digital channels BUT i cant get the HD channels. For instance i can get ONE Digital but not ONE HD. Do i need an HD receiver as well as a digital receiver? And is it pointless watching HD channels on a tv that isnt necessarily made for HD viewing? man i feel like a geek asking this ****
...and the only boxing on there thus far is on friday or saturday nights at about midnight. Not a bad show though. Usually features a handful of fights common to a particular theme.
