Because he knows there are a good number of fools and haters willing to fill his pockets hoping to see him lose. Obviously he doesn't aim his promotion entirely on the casuals, he always mentions his fans and what they mean to him. The comebacks are definately part of his strategy though. He's worked out that the more expectation/anticipation there is for him to fight, the more people will want to see it, regardless of who he fights.
