I actually thought for some reason Dariusz was in the HOF . Regarding Virgil though, there but for the fact that he sandwiched a single loss between 2 double digit reigns, that loss being against a HOF'er and ATG, he would've had a 21 fight LHW title reign, he definitely more than earned his position there.

There are so many guys that aren't in the HOF that should be over them................Genero Hernandez for example

 

Gatti, Pazienza, and Mancini IMO.

I would replace them with Dariusz Michalczewski, Meldrick Taylor, Gilberto Roman, Israel Vazquez, Wilfredo Vazquez, Miguel Lora, Santos Laciar, Yuri Arbachakov, Genaro Hernandez, Chris John, Antonio Tarver, Pongsaklek Wonjongkam, Sung Kil Moon, or Sot Chitalada.

Then the HOF loses all meaning. It becomes a medal-for-all, kudos-for-participating circus. Everybody respects fighters but there's a difference between respect and special acknowledgement.

A man with two brain cells can see that Wilile Pep was a greater featherweight than Barry Mcguigan. Now, is that unjust criticism from this arm-chair nobody or, rather, is it as close to fact as an opinion can get?
