3 fights ago Canelo was green, Now he is ready for GGG...WHY?

    Before Canelo fought Mayweather he was touted as the man to beat Floyd after Manny Pacquiao. He fought good competition on his way up the ranks beat Mosley and Trout. Gets the Mayweather bout, losses, and was instantly labeled too green for Mayweather and was a cherry pick.
    3 fights later, TKO, questionable SD, and a knockout of a mental patient and now people demand that he fights GGG.
    Well, why? Is he still too green for such an experienced fighter or is it that people want GGG to fight a star boxer and it does not matter how he gets the fight?

    he werent too green for mayweather. he would never beat him, not too green for ggg either, will never beat him either.

    Simply because he's the #1 ranked fighter in a relevant division who can easily move up as he's a big LMW who hardly makes the weight. More or less the same reason why Andre Ward is expected to fight Kovalev.

    If Mayweather had fought somebody else instead of Alvarez he would've been ducking him, now he beat him easily he was too green. Can't win because some weird people want it both ways so they can never give floyd his due credit.

    He fights and beats somebody, they become half the fighter they were proclaimed to be when he wasn't signed on to fight them.
