Khan is clearly ducking to fight one of those 3 Bradley, Alexander, Maidana. Khan talk the talk but he doesn't want to walk the walk.

Now im not Khan's biggest fan, but how exactly is he ducking Bradley or Devon? By the time Khan beat Salita, Devon was contracted to fight Urango, and Bradley was fighting Peterson. The fact remains that Khan only became a big player at LWW afterhis win against Kotelnik, which was only 2 fights ago! Now after he beat Paulie, what is he suppose to do, fight Bradley and Devon, both of which have fights? Or fight Maidana who is injured? :huh

I agree a case can be argued that he should have fought Maidana rather than Paulie, but paulie was a good gateway to the American audiance.

    rayhogan-

Does Alexander really have a better resume? A genuinely superior resume? Khan has Barrera, Kotelnik, Salita and Malignaggi. Alexander has Witter and Urango. Given that Khan won every round against Kotelnik, who was coming off a win VS Maidana, stopped Malignaggi, who was coming off a win over Diaz, and blasted out prospect Salita in just 1 round, i'd say Khan's is better, at best they are even.

He doesnt need "more than just a name opponent". We know in boxing, if you beat a name, particularly if you win easily, you gain exposure and you are more valuable. He also has a silver medal and was publicly known BEFORE he started as a pro. This gives him an advantage over the others (unfair or not), and more of a reason as to why he may be able to call the shots.

Why would Khan call out Maidana then the winner of Alexander/Bradley, saying he wishes to unify the titles, and then allow one summers worth of injury to Maidana put that off? At least Khan has outlined his plan.

Finally, of course Khan isnt ducking Alexander and Bradley. Why would he? He is faster, more powerful and more skilled than Bradley, and you could argue he has better skills than Alexander too. Alexander and his team didn't push through a fight with Khan when they were negotiating for him to face Kotelnik were they? If so find me a link.

It's clear they all realise, the more they build it up, the more value fights between each of the 3 of them will be worth.

If Khan fights none of these guys, i will be very disapointed. Very. But i expect the same also from Alexander and Bradley.

Your first point is a matter of opinion. I'd accept if you said they were very closely matched resume-wise, but your saying Alexander clearly has a better resume, so i'l just leave that point because we would be going round in circles.

Secondly, I don't need to explain anything. I and everyone knows Maidana is injured. Action must augment the words and Khan knows this himself. I will be as disappointed as anyone else if he decides not to pursue the best in the division after that callout. I do not think Khan is silly enough to call out Maidana and Bradley/Alexander in front of millions and then duck them all. It would be very obvious and result in immediate ridicule. At the same time, nothing can be done of it now, so wait and see if, after the summer and their respective fights, Khan/Bradley/Alexander/Maidana come together and fight each other. If they don't, then evaluate it then, but right now it's nonsense to say one is scared of the other.

Finally, when has Khan called out Pacquiao or Mayweather? He called out Maidana and Bradley/Alexander after his last fight.
Maybe Devon should start to talk and act like a star if he really wants to fight Khan/Bradley/Maidana, because right now, in the UK, no-one ever hears of him, and it's a clear reason why a Alexander-Khan fight would not take place.

Urango was seriously hurt by Randall Bailey, please stop making him seem like a LW great and Malignaggi like some mug who didn't deserve to be there. Malignagig still hung tough against 2 of the best modern LW's, Cotto and Hatton, so enough said on that front. If, as you say Urango KO5 Kotelnik, then why is Devon fighting him next? Surely in your view its a backward step?

I'm not biased towards Khan. I just said we will see in due course who they all fight.
They cant fight now, theres no point moaning about it because nothing more can be done.
Khan is fighting a shot Casmayor, Bradley is fighting a milk cartan, and Alexander is fighting someone who Khan already dismantled. After these fights it will be clearer, Maidana will be back, and im pretty sure fights will be arranged given the clear public demand for them.

As for Khan calling out Maidana when he was healthy, it's been suggested by others he did, i just don't have a link to back that up but will look for one. The reason Khan-Maidana was not made instead of Malignaggi was because GBP wanted Khan to get a name on his resume on his first outing in the US. It seemed fair enough to me, so long as he fights Maidana/Bradley/Alexander somewhere down the line. He called out Maidana though, that much is clear. If he doesn't fight him, then, like i said before, i will be just as annoyed as you and others.

Finally, Alexander ko'd Witter when everyone even in the UK had pretty much accepted he was past his best. Bradley was his last chance and he lost. Kind of like i'd imagine no-one really paid attention to when Khan took Barrera apart, because MAB was already past his sell by date so to speak.

Urango (who is way way stronger and hits way harder then feather fisted lightweight Diaz) would have ko 5 ko Paulie and Kot.

    Your words not mine!
