Canelo and Gamboa. They would both struggle a lot.

Williams was all wrong for Canelo but he was also past his best.
Gamboa would/could have knocked bum bum Rios out.

I would think that Pavlik carried too much power for Paul Williams.

2013 has been a terrible year for fights getting cancelled or delayed.

Couple of promotor switches, trainer switches, drug failures and injuries.

    Canelo Rios and Williams.

Williams was Incredible. He could make 147. Noone wanted to fight him. So he'd just campaign 3 divisions at the same time. 147/154/160 basically fighting anyone that would.

What are warrior! He really would fight anyone!

It's so crazy to me that neither Williams nor Pavlik are currently active boxers anymore. :blood

They are both about my age, and I haven't even turned pro yet!

Canelo, Gamboa, Pavlik (if he was only lightly sauced during training camp)

How anyone thinks that Pavlik would have beaten Williams....and by stoppage is just INSANE!!! Williams has 4 losses (2 officially) all by southpaws with skill. A flatfooted, one-dimensional punching bag like Pavlik is NOT beating Williams. And especially the version of Williams at the time this fight was made/cancelled. He was thowing 1000 punches a fight. Williams by stoppage within 8 rounds.

And as far as the others....It's a toss-up for Canelo vs Williams and Gamboa easily out-points Rios. I mean if Abril.....
