I'd put bigger guys in there.. and shorter fights since most guys have a short attention span and love seeing big men fight

Corrales Castillo was good but only the last round made it great

Tyson-Holyfield I explosive fight, star names

    Hagler Hearns, short and sweet

tszyu-judah high skill level and amazing ko

corrales-castillio is the fight that made me pretty much stop following basketball and football and only follow boxing. before then i used to just watch to hbo fights casually, but when i caught it on showtime one lonely night it made me a believer.

Good choices. I was thinking of the first two, then maybe the Bowe vs. Gollata with the riot afterward.

That was crazy! George Foreman in a tuxedo, with the other announcers hiding behind him in the corner, dropping bombs on everyone in striking distance.

    I will never forget that!

    Barrera Morales Trilogy.
    Gatti Ward Trilogy.
    Castillo Corrales I.

If I had to recommend the three great(est) rounds to a new fan they would be as follows:

    1. Hagler Hearns Round 1 - No reason needed.
    2. Gatti Ward Round 9 - No reason needed.
    3. Mayweather N'dou Round 5 - The action in this round takes up about 2 of the 3 minutes. In the 2nd minute of the round, Mayweather opens up with some very impressive and aggressive offense - this is the best ive seen Mayweather. But, even though N'dou looked on the verge of being knocked out, he showed some unbelieveable heart and started pushing Mayweather back with an incredible amount of punches. Not many hit the target, but Mayweather's defense was equally impressive. (I'd also like to add, in the last 10-20 seconds of the round, this is one of the only few occassions I have seen Mayweather plant his feet and let his punches go.)

Everybody is recommending true wars, but I think you should also recommend one in wish a someone gets a Brutal K.O so i would go with

    Barrera vs Morales
Golota vs Bowe 2 (hell a fight and amazing controversy)
and then trow in Marquez vs Diaz
(amazing fight, brutal K.O at the end and very recent, gotta trow in a recent fight if you give him all old school he wont be that much into it)

I got my mate started by watching Haye-Valuev, Khan-Salita.

Both weren't really entertaining, but he enjoyed them. So I cannot wait until he watches a really great fight.

    :good

Plenty of the usual suspects already suggested so I will chuck in couple of different ones into the mix

    Benn v McClelland
    Eubank v Watson

Tragic endings really to great fights but shows how much these guys risk in the ring doing something they love.

Hagler-Hearns has to be there. Other than that, there are a ton of good suggestions in this thread. But I've known some people who were actually turned off by Corrales-Castillo. It's a bit on the brutal side for someone who doesn't already watch some kind of fighting.
