In 2008 we will see Klitschko vs. Povetkin and thats a possible HW-fight of the decade.....two Olympic Gold medallist vs. each other.

Solis will be a force within the next 2-3 years.

    Haye is a good one.

If someone says Tony Thompson again, I might as well add Josh Cobb, then.

It was intended to be funny with Wlad and Vitali posing as gay characters for some known photo sessions. You know they would never fight but if you want a serious comment, either Wlad wins cause Vitaly would get another injury training or Vitaly wins as he love touches his brother's glass chin... Concerning love between you and me, I am open for discussions but not if you look like Vitaly, create your own avatar with your pic and then if you can be passive enough :smooch

Btw, agree w/many above. Valuev (for the reasons noted) & Ruslan seem to have the best chances. Of course there are others with slim chances. Peter has a chance, but his stock has fallen with that near loss to McCline. Povetkin, if he continues to improve, will have his chances in the future.

Isn't it odd how, even in a win, Peter is now reduced to little to no threat, whereas before last Saturday night, Peter was touted as the best chance to beat Wlad. ...........?????

Gotta credit McCline for taking it to this bully, and introducing Peter's ass to the canvas.........three times.

The last time Samuel Peter faced Wlad, he gave him a decent run for his money, and if he eventually gets a rematch, might even do a bit better this time around. Although, we'd have to favor Klit.

    Very true,

but a single bad performance shouldn't become a defining hallmark of a fighter's career. Jameel Mccline is a large savy veteran, and was not hyped up as being much of a match for Peter. There could have been a motivational factor there. I think that god willing, Peter gets his ass into semi-decent condition, and starts taking his persuit of the title more seriously, he could have a shot at being the best heavyweight in the world.

Lot of if's in that paragraph, but else do we have to go by right now?

To even have a shot, u gotta have a serious beard, heart. and a lot of power.

Peter still fits this criteria the best. But id say he has no more than 10% chance, maybe less. he certainly isnt getting any better. Chagaev and Iggy are good boxers and u don't outbox wlad klitschko. Valuev has no power and moves in slow motion and would get torn up. Other than that, there's nothing. I'd like to see more of Virchis and Povetkin though. I want to see how much power he has against Byrd.
