You have no idea what you are talking about. He had to fight his way back into a contract with HBO, hence his Showtime fight with Williamson. Middle of the road competition? Give me a break. He is knocking out everyone put in front of him. :-( :-( :-(
And his fight with Williamson was far from impressive, I just remember Wlad getting dropped by a light punch.
your right, Wlads chin will always be glass he just learned how to deal with it better, by clinching anytime hes remotely hurt. The problem we have today is that there is only a few heavywieghts that are willing to take Wlads punches to give there own, its just too bad the heavywieghts aint what they used be in the 90s. Guys like Lewis, Bowe, Holyfield, Tyson, even a Tommy Morrison would probably put Wlad to sleep.
Well we're missing each others replies here... Not sure if you're being sarcastic, but no reason we can't be friends here on ESB - no matter what our agreement rate
Meadowlands is a hater, that's all. The middle of the road competition comment :nut is a tell lit up with bright lights :yep
Give me a break. Ruiz couldn't beat Jones Jr, Fat Toney, Golota, Tua, etc but he's gonna beat Wlad. Please use some common sense.
I'm sorry but I just posted a honest answer, , but If you're gonna base of his losses or victories you don't atribute to him lets talk about wlad's. He coudn't beat Ross Puritty, Lamon Brewster, Corrie Sanders!!!! I just wouldn't count Ruiz out because nobody likes him, you've seen the guy fight when he wants to fight. I don't Valuev beat him, I think Ruslan didn't beat him and for that matter, those are some of the guys that 80% of this board are saying would beat him. Klitschko is still a suspect, he cannot take a good punch and Ruiz can defenetly pack a good left hook and right hand. There is no doubt in my mind that Ruiz has a fair chance to beat wlad, I'm not saying he would but anything is possible in that squared ring. A boxing guru like you should know that. Wlad could blow out Ruiz in one round but so could Ruiz. Wlad's chin isn't that great. Plus the guys you mentioned for ruiz... Jones and JT are future hall of famers. Golota was beating completly and i mean completly Riddick Bowe. The good thing about my opinion is that no matter what you say, it still fits in the world of opportunity. Wlad is not invinsible.
When I seen you put Ruiz down, I knew people would attck that answer. I think you made a couple good points saying that the boxers Wlad has lost too in the past, are far from world beaters. Ruiz is a fighters who can give anyone trouble in the ring, I would give Ruiz a chance as well considering Wlads weak chin.
Who can beat Klitschko? Anybody who is clever enough to avoid standing in front of him and getting hit.
